Vote South Dakota is a media response to the latest trend that candidates and campaigns believe they can reach voters through their own social media platforms. This often leaves journalists with unanswered requests for interviews. This denies voters accurate information and traditional civic discourse.

The Vote South Dakota project is a website that offers voters information and allows media organizations to share stories and resources. This project also offers a televised candidate town hall discussion ahead of the 2024 November general election. All candidates and representatives for issues listed on the 2024 statewide ballot are invited to participate.
